First off, the mascara:
Elisabeth Arden Double Density Mascara
I've been a loyal Max Factor user for a while, but I saw this mascara on sale and though to myself: "I have to try this!" And so I did. The design and packaging is very elegant and the wand itself is thinner in the end to reach all of those small lashes in the corners of your eyes. This works wonders for opening the eyes and make them pop!
The formula is soft and doesn't dry as fast as other mascaras I have used. It isn't as flaky and doesn't dry out your lashes. This seems like a healthier choice for your lashes.
If you have problems with dry lashes that fall out, you should try sleeping with vaseline on your lashes. When you remove it in the morning they are much more soft!!
Garnier BB Cream. Miracle Skin Perfector
I LOVE THIS!!! It is a BB cream which stands for Blemish Balm, and are suppose to even out skin tone, moisturize, prevent redness and spots. It is formulated as a sort of tinted moisturizer that you use in the morning before you go out, or as a "foundation" for your foundation, powder etc.
How I use it, depends on what I'm doing that day.
It has a oily consistency, but it really sinks into the skin and you won't dry out all day. Furthermore it cancels out the red in the face because of the neutral color. It is neither pink nor yellow and will therefore match a lot of skin tones.
Sadly there is only two colors. Light/Medium and Medium/Dark. As I have pretty fair skin I obviously bought the light one. It is a bit dark for me, but as it blends in really well, it is not a problem and I look tanned! Always a plus!
You can buy it a most drugstores or supermarkets for a reasonable price.
I must say that I was pleased to discover these products and I will absolutely recommend them and buy them again!
Love, Christine
